We visited this area because of the history of the bridge and Kennedy lore. Well the bridge makes the story very interesting but the area has many interests beyond that. A beautiful serene setting. Not a lot to do but relaxing.

Chappy is quiet and not too many people here aka boring. You really can have fun, nice beaches, fun to walk around found some really cool spots and big seashells, conchs. The bridge well supposed bridge I think it is a newer version, but I could be wrong, the bridge that Kennedy drove off of is here for you to... More

Great for a quick visit in the off season from Edgartown. Took out kids and bikes and headed cross country to one of the beaches. Beautiful and easy to get around. Didn't stay long as it was freezing but loved the adventure of the ferry and feeling far away from the world. Take water and snacks!

Nice day trip on the mini ferry. Lots of outdoorsy things to do. Drive on the beach if you've got "the right stuff". There is a interesting "counter culture" there you'll just have to experience,

Lovely fall day to trek to the salt marshes, hike. Fall colors amidst the scrub pines. Well worth the 1 minute ferry ride!

We didn't visit the beaches but did enjoy biking around the island and visiting the gardens there. Some roads are paved others are sandy/dirt.

Took a ride over to Chappaquaddick on the ferry. Was surprised at the lines waiting to go over and come back. We enjoyed walking the beach and searching for shells. Beautiful, quiet beach. Only wished we had more time.

Take the ferry from Edgartown, country roads, few cars, pastoral views out to the beach. Great excursion for a few hours.
