And always just a little bit different each time we visit. The shifting sand bars, the visiting seals, and, lately the thrill of (maybe) seeing a great white.

Great historical lighthouse that you can climb on a tour. If you are into history, then you will really enjoy this. Not to mention, the views from the top of the lighthouse are incredible.

The first night we arrived in Chatham, it was foggy. We went down to the lighthouse to see it in action. It was very cool! Highly recommend a night visit if you're in the area!

Beautiful location. We saw seals in the distance (maybe 50 or so of them). No parking for more than 30 minutes. It said online that the lighthouse was open for viewing from 1-3 but this doesn’t start til next week.

Chatham Lighthouse is a must see while in Chatham. Located in the Coast Guard barracks. Across the street is a photo op of the bay area.

We walked to the lighthouse one evening, and it was a great experience. The lighthouse is cool to see and the beach is very beautiful. too.

We were a little disappointed that it was all roped off and so far back, you couldn't go up and take pics or really see the architecture of it.

The former lighthouse keeper's house is an active US Coast Guard station and on duty personnel living quarters. We were unable to tour it or get very close but it was still cool to see it and educate ourselves on its history.

Well worth visiting, with ocean overview and great sands. Also to realize Europe is out over the horizon.
