For anyone getting a little bored with the gentle grades of the rail trail, the cycle paths in the park make a refreshing change. The paths are well signposted and mettled, and wind through the Forrest. Some of the hills can be a little steep...More

Nice park with beautiful views of a pond which has a small beach. We liked walking around. Parking was plentiful off season. However, beware of snakes! None of them are venomous but if you are afraid of them avoid the pond / beach area. We...More

Nice place for hiking or biking. Get a map or use GPS. Walking trails not marked well. Was nearly empty but probable quite busy in Summer.

There are no sites directly on ponds. You have to walk down a trail to them

In general the sites away from the water and further out are larger and will be more private. Check out areas 6, 6x and 7.
