I recently went to Long Pasture for this Falls searh for ducks and sea birds to add to my life list. As a Mass. Adubon Member it is always wonderful to explore a new Sancntuary right in my Back yard. This is such beautiful and...More

have been going to the Cape for years and never seen this sanctuary. It has fun lectures -- we went on a "scat" lecture, aimed at kids, but also fun for adults. Not only learned a lot, but had a great time walking around and...More

We stopped here an overcast day and it was a really fun way to spend an hour or so with little ones. They loved wading around in the shallow tidal pool and finding all sorts of critters, rocks and shells. We didn't get a chance...More

We went on the tidal flat creature search tour with our 5 year old. We had a great time exploring and checking out all the sea creatures that are hiding in and under the sand. My daughter had a great time digging up horseshoe crabs...More

I found this more of a place for beach walking rather than birding. Nice views but really noisy families. There's better places along Cape Cod for peaceful views.

This Mass Audubon location is a hidden gem of the town of the Mid-Cape! The education and outdoor classes are managed by a dedicated education team and the classes showcase many aspects of the coastal ecology. The staff really know their stuff, and are great...More

I guess I was expecting a bit more. We went on the Marsh Boardwalk (very short), Harbor Overlook, and Bone Hill Trails. Most of these were in fairly thick forest areas and signage wasn't always that helpful. While there was always a sign telling you...More

This is a lovely place to hike or just stroll along the short path from the visitor centre to the harbour view, which is stunning. Very nice, helpful lady in the visitor centre. After the harbour view we took a few of the trails through...More

Our family of three just joined the kayak paddle to sandy neck Lighthouse. It was a unique opportunity bc it is privately owned and a special place. The leaders were well organized and informed us of lots of naturalist tidbits we will remember.
