Quaint, small town with some antique/collectible type places. The local bakery is WONDERFUL - Peace of Cake, go try it. Some historic buildings as well.

Now please don’t take this wrong as I’m not really up to my former navigational skills, but I found getting around difficult as it seems does my upto date GPS. Not all that much to see that I could find. They do seem to have an extensive bike and hiking trail system. Had difficulty finding many restaurants for lunch.

Not to say this in a bad way, but Stevensville is probably one of the most passed by little villages in Maryland, with millions of people heading out to Ocean City or back home. It is a place to wind down, relax, take your watch off your wrist and enjoy. My wife and I spent one of our "Adventure" Wednesdays going through the place. It was a quiet, peaceable, and very enjoying time! We did some shopping, ate at local family owned "bistro" kind of restaurant and enjoyed our meals and paid a very reasonable price for two soups, a hand made sandwich, a salad and unlimited really great Iced tea with lemon in it. Bought a few items in one of their shops that were unique and again, homemade. We were there for about 3 to 4 hours (I mentioned taking off your wrist watch - remember?). It was a great adventure day and we learned a bit more about Maryland in the process. So if you are looking to wind down a bit, need some time to be with your loved one without outside interference, I would recommend that you spend a few hours as a minimum in Stevensville, MD!

Historic Stevensville is a town in Kent Island. The historic part of town is on at the intersection of E. Main Street and Love Point Road. Base on the information, it is a national historic district in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. In addition to a few historic historic structures there are a few Antiques and arts stores, not much else. This historic of the town is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A charm little place on the Island if you have a chance to stop and see.
