Attended a golf outing with 24 friends and had a great time although as always could have played better. From the Tips the River course is long, especially with 2 inches of rain the day before. Course in decent shape however typical of courses with a lot of outings, very few people fix ball marks on the greens so they... More

Well maintained fairways and greens, just hate when they aerate greens...putting is useless. Love both courses, for practice and playing.

Second time I have played Queenstown Harbor and it's a really great course. Specifically, I play the River Course and it's worth the greens fees. Great views of the Chester River on some holes. Not the most challenging course out there but definitely some holes to make you think about keeping the driver in the bag and lay up so... More

Played the Lakes Course. Decided on the Lakes over the River because it seemed the less difficult course but the course is not a push over. The course is in tremendous shape. The greens were beautiful and ran true and smooth. The course was busy but we never felt rushed or crowded and played a comfortable sub 4-hour round. The... More

Queens town Harbor has two courses-River and Lakes-and both are great. The River Course is the more difficult of the two and the wind off the Chester River will definitely come into play. The Lakes Course is a little less difficult, but, as the name implies, there is some water, but it's not always in play. Be prepared for plentiful... More

First, we love this course, and the folks from the pro-shop, 19th hole, starter to golf return. Second, after being away for a few years, we returned with great expectations and were quite disappointed in the condition of the course in May 2015. The sand bunkers were thin, with liners showing in some parts. The fairways appeared to have been... More

Little doubt that this is one of the nicest public courses in Maryland. Very well maintained with an interesting but somewhat traditional at times layout. The buffer ares between the course and the Chester river keep you well away from the waters edge....no doubt the views arn't any different if you were closer but honestly I was disappointed that the... We played the Lakes course the 7th of July. We got out early to skip the rush and played without running into any traffic. We did get overtaken by two guys that were anxious to play through. They didn't hit that well but their energy made up for the miss-hits. All of the greens were soft and playable. They rolled... More

I will start by saying I played the Lakes course with a friend we play every other month or so. This was a planned trip we both looked forward to very much and had a great time on a very very nice, well maintained and clean course ( including carts ) Great views of the River peaking through here and... 2 beautiful courses. A more challenging course called the River with holes along the Chester River near the mouth at the Chesapeake bay and the Lakes course which is not quite as difficult. They offer some good deals for afternoon and off season play which make it more affordable for frequent play. My opinion, one of the best courses in... More
