The boardwalk was nice enough during the day but came alive a little more at night. The beach right off the boardwalk looked very crowded. We started at the end of the boardwalk (27th Street) and quickly realized that it was mostly hotels/condos with little...More

The boardwalk reminded me of Wildwood, NJ. It consisted of carnival games, t-shirt stores (Sunsations), fudge/candy shops (Candy Kitchen), amusement rides (two different companies so make sure you know that before buying lots of tickets since they can only be used with that company), typical...More

Standard boardwalk food and activities. Lots of places to eat. Restaurant waits are kind of long. Ride prices seem to go up every year. Not a cheap venture but what you would expect.

I think there were two shops off one of the hotels that sold jewelry and a few designer items. this hotel was the only exception. Boardwalk was great for pizza places and ice cream. These places are independent and different. Just dn't expect shopping choices.

The boardwalk itself I noticed has a lot of wear and tear as I was lucky enough to keep tripping in some spots, but other than that it's always enjoyable to people watch and buy ice cream!

We have to visit the boardwalk each time to Ocean City. We parked around tenth street and walked all the way down to the amusement park. The highlight is always seeing the sand sculptures by Randy Hofman. They are so inspiring. The amusement park is...More

OCMD boardwalk is nothing special. It essentially has repeating stores every so many blocks. There are only a handful of stores that offer high quality, worthwhile items. Overall, it is just OK.

I love walking the board walk early in the morning. It's very clean and well taken care of. Lots of shops and good places to eat. Great fun at night.

Lots of shops and restaurants. Runs from the south edge of the peninsula to 27th street, just over 3 miles long. After about 1/2 a mile, though, you have really seen everything, and everything after that is just a repeat. Same shirts/sunglasses/swim towels in each...More

The boardwalk doesn't shut down but the shops close late night and bars remain open until early morning. Yes, it's a great clean, fun beach to take someone who has never been to a beach. Assateague island is close by and... More

It won't be in full swing, but there will be plenty to do- don't worry! Focus on the very end/beginning of the boardwalk and you'll be fine.
