Half of the Waterpark (including most of the thrill rides) was closed...we were told during to lack of staffing. They did give us complimentary putt putt next door due to this. Also if you go after 12:45 you get a significant discount. Seemed clean for the most part. Lots of seating and lots of shade. Lifeguards didn't pay much attention and chit chatted with each other and observed one eating while on stand.

I’ve had great experiences here and a lot of fun. These rides are fun for the whole family. I took my wife and kids and we all had a blast. We raced down the body slides and went together on a four person ride. It was so much fun!

Awesome water park with things to go for every age. Big slides for the big kids and small slides for the small kids. There’s something for everyone. Though we had a blast, it was absolutely jam packed. It was a little overwhelming, and felt that it was a little dangerous, especially for the little kids in the wade pools. It was difficult to move without being very close to people both out of the water and in the water. We ended up cutting our trip short because of how crowded it was.

The park was fun for every age level. Mermaids shared the day with us, the littles loved it. Unforgettable experience for our family.
Lines cause some wait time. Get there when the park opens.
Buy your tickets in person or remotely on Black Friday for a sale price.
Be sure you check before you go. Sometimes they close for events or weather issues.
Dawn from Costumer service was wonderful to deal with if you need extra assistance.
There are hotels right across the street, I saw a Hilton. Have fun!

My teens and tweens and I did the reduced admission for the 3-6 time slot. There was plenty of parking albeit a little tight. Most of the families with little kids were headed out. We got to ride everything and some things twice. You may bring in water bottles and they have lockers for your valuables. The smallest locker was 5.00. I had heard the tubes were hard to come by and we did hold on to our tubes in the beginning but after a while, there were plenty at all the rides.

Nice, clean water park. The lines weren’t too bad. Something for all ages. There were enough chairs for everyone as far as I could tell. Also, an arcade and free mini golf until 6. Unfortunately, Rain was threatening so they closed early. Would have stayed longer and played mini golf.

A really good waterpark. They have awesome slides. Something for everyone. Little ones have lots to choose from and more exciting stuff for the older kids.
When you purchase get the all day pass with speedworld. Do NOT waste your money on the dry rides at Jolly Roger.

Went in July4th. Lady at register was patient and nice when hauling kids with you lol. Ride lines went fast so no crazy long waits. More shaded or umbrella covered areas where chairs are would be nice. Bring some sandwiches or snacks with you. Food at stands in park a lil pricey. A funnel cake in the park was $16 and on boardwalk it was $9 so you have an idea of what I mean. The great thing is you can bring a cooler with food and drinks. Remember just NO GLASS! That’s obvious when most a barefoot. Get to park early if you want seating in shaded area or a seat at all. Park packs in quick. Wearing swim shoes will help you from getting blisters on your feet but remember you can’t wear them on some rides. I suggest wearing swim trunks with pockets to secure them. There are non secure cubbies you can also use by rides to store them. Jewelry also not permitted on some rides so secure that prior to arrival to ease your mind of loss or theft. You can make a fun filled day out of it. Park was open 10A.M. To 6 P.M. Bring your patience and good attitude. Many families with kiddos crying and ungrateful parents and children. Be respectful of others trying to have a good memory with their children and do what you planned the trip for! HAVE FUN!! I would and will come back! Thank Splash Mountain for the good memories and fun!!

We loved Splash Mountain waterpark! There was plenty of things to do for people of all ages. There were small waterslides, ones for double riders, thrill slides for older rides, a lazy river, splash park areas for toddlers, and climbing areas with sprayers and dumping buckets. At certain times, they even have mermaids at the one pool that face painted my girls’ faces! There was plenty of lounging areas in and out of the sun. The food was decent but overpriced like most amusement/waterparks. The Italian ice was really good! I recommend bringing your own life preservers for your little ones but they do offer ones to use at no extra charge. Some of the pools, even in the kid area - spill out into some not-that-shallow water so I would also recommend little kids wear the life vests the whole time.

One of the best water parks I’ve been to. Friendly staff and attractions for all ages. I would recommend this for anyone from families to a friend group looking for something to do.

Are there any parts of the park that are currently closed as of July 2021?
Written 1 July 2021
I was just there July 1st and three of the rides were closed “for cleaning”. Most of the main attractions were open though!

If you google Splash Mountain in OC MD and go to the website and click on the “passes” link they will display all the option for purchasing tickets. I tried to include a link but TripAdvisor wouldn’t allow it. We bought our tickets at the gate and used the $5.00 off combo coupons we found in one of the local coupon books. We got three “over 42 inches” combo tickets and one “under 42 inches” combo ticket and our total was around $170 for two days of fun. We did Splash Mountain one day and The Jolly Roger Park on 30th the other day. I believe you might also be able to go to the Jolly Roger on the pier but you’d have to check on that. Groupon also has deals so you might want to check there as well. Hope this info helps!
