The museum is classy and very friendly and some of the local individuals volunteer here and they have some great stories and are very knowledgeable of the museum and it's displayed items.

The Garrett Museum of Transportation has a wide array of historic vehicles on display--cars, trucks, an historic firetruck, tractors, carriages, boats, and snow machines. This place is truly cool! Beautiful inside and the staff is so darn nice. The cars and Deep Creek Lake memories are outstanding. I was a kid again. Must come and see this!

This two-story museum contains an amazing assortment of antique transportation items, including carriages, cars, fire engine, bicycles, motorcycles, sail boat and classic power boat.

We love to visit this Museum with friends who visit. They have done a stellar job of sharing Garrett County History through aritfacts,transportation,and wonderful presentations. Worth a visit !

Cars, bicycles, boats, trucks, fire trucks - they are all here! Beautiful examples of these machines are spiffed up and ready for public viewing. This really is something worth checking out - top floor too!!
