This place has a beautiful little trail along the river with some really great views of the water falls and river gorge. Makes a nice trip with kids.

This is a great short hike! The trails are well maintained and easy to follow. The falls are beautiful and provide a refreshing day in nature. It's also very dog friendly and easy to do with your furry friends.

What a great visit to the park. We walked the trail which primarily ran along the Yongiheny River which featured 4 waterfalls. The trail was manageable but would be a little bit of a challenge for the elderly. We saw deer, squirrels, chipmunks and plenty...More

This is a beautiful, easy hike. Signs were a bit confusing so we missed one of the falls. The trail is easy and we were lucky enough to see some white water kayaks going through one of the falls. A must if you are in...More

We took a 4 yr old, a 10 yr old, and a pregnant woman on the Swallow Falls hike, and it was a good fit for all of us. Easy hiking and dramatic landscape.

A nice 1.5 mile looping trail. We did the outer loop hitting Trolliver falls first then ending at the finale, Muddy Creek Falls. Lots of lookout/photo spots.

This is a great place for a 2-3 hour hike and/or picnic very nearby Deep Creek Lake. The forest is a beautiful mix of trees with some very old stands of trees. The three waterfalls are cool. Local teenagers were jumping off the falls in...More

I took my kids there for the first time when the falls were frozen solid and, despite the freezing temperature, it was magical! we all loved and we want to go back again in the Summer to see it under another light!

We took 3 cars of teenagers on a roadtrip and ended up here. It was a pretty cool day and rainy and dreary but we stopped anyway. They put on their bathing suits and took their towels so their clothes wouldn't get wet. We walked...More

If you take the path the left from the parking lot, it will very shortly take you to the top of Muddy Creek Falls (that's the big one). However, to actually get a good look at the falls, you'll have to go down a rather long... More
