This is one of Garrett County's best attractions. Great hiking. Some of the trails were damaged during Hurricane Sandy, but they were cleared enough to get through without interrupting too much of the natural beauty. The falls at Muddy Creek are 56 feet high...and can be slippery....so please beware of the water on the rocks at the top as you... More

This park is extremely well put together and a marvel of nature. I look forward to coming back in the winter. The path runs along the river which is great. There are so many fallen trees and rocks but they don't impede the trail, they are just a reminder of the impermanence of nature. The falls themselves are beautiful and... More

The trails leading to the waterfalls are very well groomed and cared for, though there are many steps and hills to navigate and there will be some mud if it has rained recently. I believe there is an ADA accessible trail. We were there in April, when it's $3 / car, but "in-season" rates are $3 / person, for MD... More

I'm lucky to live across the street from swallow falls. No matter what season it's beautiful to take a walk. If you just want to sit a while there is an area by the waterfall with lots of seating. Very peaceful and scenic

We walked the trail around the falls it was a great work out, but also a lovely trail. We were able to stop and look around. I am short and the steps are far apart. It felt like being on an elliptical. But my husband is tall and said the step placement was just right. Lovely trail to experence nature.

Great trails and gorgeous vistas await you here. The falls are captivating, in any season! Great family adventure. This place is always packed. One of our favorite stop while visiting in deep creek.

This is a very easy place to hike. The falls are easy to reach and offer a fun day for the kids. Get to see the kayaker going over the falls right by the viewing point.

One of my favorite places to visit here in Maryland to see waterfalls. Muddy Creek, Lower and Upper Swallows Falls. My child has grown up visiting here and this time brought family member from out of state to view these beautiful falls. Short hike was a bit wet and muddy along path due to recent rain fall, but the views... More

Very beautiful and lots of hiking. Three waterfalls to see. Wear good shoes as there is a lot of walking, steps, and rocks.
