If you are into the civil war this is a great place to visit. Lots of history here. This was the headquarters for McClellan. This place seen much activity. See how lives were changed after they departed and left the wounded behind.

I can see why General McClellan chose this as his headquarters because it is quite the perch on the hill. We live close by so we always visit on the 4th of July along with Antietam Battlefield.

We visited here after Antietam. It was unique and informative. More sick and injured stayed in the barn rather than the house. I would recommend this.
