If you are interested in lighthouses and history then stop in Havre de Grace, MD to see the Concord Point Lighthouse. Right on the Susquehanna River, then enjoy the promenade walk. Beautiful views with benches to sit and watch.

I always enjoy seeing the lighthouses when we travel.. This is very pretty but you can't go up into it if you are one that enjoys climbing all those stairs for the view.

Nice to see this small lighthouse, would have been nice to climb up, but was closed when we were there. The sign out front said it was only open on Sat. and Sun. and we were there on a Wednesday. It is a small area,...More

HDG is a quaint small time that has lots of local charm and great history. Very easily a walk-able one or two day visit. The light house is situated within walking distance of several B&Bs and local eateries. Great bike tour location as well.

This isn't the tallest lighthouse I've ever seen but the history behind them is always magical. The volunteer manning the lighthouse on Saturday was very knowledgeable and very good with children. My 7 and 5 year old were tall enough to walk up the light...More

There's a spiral staircase inside which is nice. But be careful on the ladder to get into the cupola. There are plastic windows making the cupola warm--no air circulation save a small fan. The windows were dirty which was disappointing.
