Major improvements, including two boat launch ramps and increased parking

Jean Roberts Park has undergone some major improvements since my last visit. The parking lot is much enlarged and has clearly marked spaces for vehicles with boat trailers as well as regular cars. There are now two improved boat ramps. The scenic view of the river and the bridges remains a prime attraction.

we walked everywhere and found this park as we continued through the city of Havre de Grace. Quiet and clean.

Quiet view by the river

Jean Roberts Park and Boat Launch provides a peaceful view of the lower Susquehanna River. The park itself has a paved parking lot and boat Launch with a well maintained grassy area with picnic tables. It is located under the Amtrak bridge. One can watch boats and wildfowl. The town has made very good use of waterfront property for recreation.
