I took my teen daughters and their friends for a day trip. The girls and I had a surprisingly good time. There was plenty to do: water slide, high and low pier jump, water volleyball, and paddle boating the lake(additional cost of $5/30 minutes). The...More

I really needed to get out of the hustle and bustle of my busy county and hoped Cascade Lake would provide the perfect break. We decided to go after 2 pm to get the price break ($8/per person) and come back the next day if...More

The pictures are much better than reality. Very little 'beach'. More like mud. Swim test cannot be given more than once so if a child doesn't understand what is asked and perform to expectations they cannot access the 'attractions' in the deep end. A good...More

Very nice facility for swimming and family fun. My family enjoyed everything they had to offer. The Spray N Play, the water slides, picnic area by the water, and swimming in the lake. Lots of fun! Such a peaceful serene setting and the policy of...More

It's a small lake in the Hampstead area. They have improved it over the years but so many rules and regulations that it isn't fun anymore to go to. They have a huge pool which you would think you would be allowed to swim in...More

Cascade Lake is a local favorite for cooling off in the summer. There are pavilions for groups to picnic, a diving platform, water spray, a small beach, slides and concessions. It's sort of a throwback--it's old style, but it works and works well.

We drove up for the day from DC, brought a picnic and enjoyed the day with friends. You need to be 8 and pass a swim test to get out to the diving platforms, and you can't go down the larger water slide unless you...More

This lake has two small slides that dump into the shallow swimming area. There is a taller winding slide that dumps into its own small area. There is an area for water volleyball. And there is a deep water swimming area with floating rafts and...More
