A lovely, quaint village with friendly artists and vendors who are willing to answer questions and spend time explaining their work. from pottery, woodcraft, sculpting, weaving, essential oils, painting and sketching. You can spend at least 10- 15 minutes in each cottage to browse.

We were visiting Casselman State Park, and walked directly into Spruce Forest Artisan Village. There is no admission charge, and several artisans are on-site. We will return.

Eat dinner at Penn Alp's Restaurant and then to walk off the wonderful food walk across the parking lot to the Spruce Forest Artisan Village. Made up of historic cabins, on weekends their are local artisans selling their crafts. Great place to visit.

The place is a little touristy but the crafts sold are pretty unique. We found some interesting ceramics and a quilt. It's a nice way to spend an hour or two if you have time and are in the area.
