EMI is a secured federal facility where training is done for emergency management personnel. The grounds & buildings are historic, well kept with a few very well done memorials to public servants who have faithfully served throughout the US

Take the time to see the memorial as well as the bricks with names throughout the campus. Not as big space wise as the law enforcement memorial in WA DC, but worth the stop.

Take the time to visit and pay respect to those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in the fire service. An eternal flam burns and the names of the individuals are listed for you to see.
