We visited while passing through... the ride was scenic and informative. Glad we did it. Only two things I think should be considered for changing... a couple open air cars and 2 hours in Frostburg instead of 1 hour.

We enjoyed our whole trip. The staff was wonderful. The dining car for the evening dinner was so elegant. We felt like we were in a movie from the 30s or 40s.

No review just a question. Is this a one way trip? I see you can bike back but can I take the train back?

While this has been a boon to the area, it also costs the taxpayers a lot of money to maintain. Both the state and county have had to spend a lot to keep it going, and there still is no steam locomotive on the horizon.More
