Definitely visit Strathmore! You will love the sound and quality of music. I would say it is small place, but this is what makes the acoustic so good. 1. Check for activities and classes for kids. 2. Use metro to get there, Grosvenor Red Line....More

I traveled down to MD with my daughter to see Home Free in concert! This venue is just amazing! Unfortunately, the seats that I had gotten were higher than I thought and my daughter (age 9) freaked out over the height. The staff was amazingly...More

The concert was awesome and it celebrated the 1920s blues. My wife and I loved it and I would highly recommend this!

Right off the beltway. Free parking and literally steps from Metro. National Philharmonic concerts are free for...More

A reviewer mentions the NSO performing here. I don't remember that ever occurring. The National Philharmonic(Strathmore's orchestra-in-residence) does give fine performances here, but they are two completely different orchestras. Has the NSO ever performed here?

I am not aware that that particular orchestra played at Strathmore. If you check the Strathmore partners there is no mention of it. That does not mean that at some point in time it did not occur, it just means that I am... More
We are attending an event at the Strathmore. I am wondering what the temperature is in the concert hall - will I need a sweater to be comfortable?

What is the best seat area if I want to purchase tickets? I like up front, but I don't want a sore neck if I have to look way up? Any advice out there? Thank you in advance.
