It is hard to see when you are in the parking lot, but way better view and much better pictures when you are along the beach or get higher in the grass when you get more perspective in the park.

The light house was average. The fort and beautiful pathways surrounding it made the trip worth while. It turned out to be a great place for lunch and a nature walk with an added touch of history. Great for all ages.

We spent a few minutes at the lighthouse and a few hours at the park scrambling over rocks looking in tide pools, walking the pier and trails, reading about the fort. It's a great little park.

My husband & I stopped by to see the lighthouse. It's pretty but I've seen better..you can't get too close to it because it's a private residence

In reading some of the reviews, do not understand how you cannot revel in the history of them. How do you suggest to not visit them. Men and woman spent there lives in some of these and saved so many lives. I thought this was...More

You enter the state park and pay a fee on the honor system. There are a few trails that lead to wooded picnic areas. Would not recommend as it was a bit overgrown and buggy. A few tables are a bit better to the left...More

We stopped by the Fort Point Light for a light walk around after lunch at Libbie's where the sandwiches are really good and huge. Not fancy...just home style comfort. So we visited two good spots in one.

I was just there today, yes but it's difficult to climb over the rocks. Got down to the pier area. My kids loved seeing the tide pools and there was barely a soul in sight.
