Best boogie boarding and surfing in Maine. It is also a wonderful place to take our dogs. We go in September when the crowds have gone home. Plenty of parking in the municipal lot three blocks away. Warm showers!

The sky was lovely, the mosquitoes drove us off the beach. There were dogs everywhere but they were well monitored by their owners.

This beach has great waves at different heights for jumping. In September- the water was cool but not cold. The tides make a huge difference in terms of amount of exposed beach.

We have been coming here for years - it's a picturesque beach experience. Gorgeous beach, very civilized and diverse - yet peaceful. The locals are great - very welcoming. One of the best beaches in Portland!
