Never found the park - the coordinates listed brought us to a used auto parts store. This is one of two stops this trip where we had this issue. Disappointing.

Rockland overall was an unexpected experience. We always wanted to visit, but had no idea how much it offers. So much to see & experience. As a world traveler, I have to rank it amongst my best experiences abroad. Allow at least a few days, as you peel of layers I thinks you will also be surprised how much there is to experience!👍👍👍👍

Nice place to walk around on a warm sunny day

There is a bit of a trail that you can follow from Archers on the pier along the waterfront all the way to the Coast Guard station. During the Summer there are usually one or two vendors that serve decent food. The Pearl on the Pier has a great deck overlooking the Harbor but stick to drinks, the food is lousy. There are several boat operators that offer various trips around the harbor including a chance to go lobstering

Farmers Market

wow...this is a farmers market! Perfect start to a summer Thursday. Great pizzas, baked goods, produce, specialty goods (soaps, teas, etc.). Not to be missed!

Lobster Festival

The Annual Rockland Lobster Festival was in the Harbour Park when we were there. Great festival, lots of fun and games for the kids! 10K race on Sunday of the festival. Bands on stage in the evenings. Lobster prices very reasonable and it is FRESH!!

Beautiful

This beautiful, well kept park was very clean. It had a beautiful view of the bay and docked boats. Very very pretty place to see the bay.

beautiful scenery and relaxing area

The Harbor Park is a beautiful little place. It's a great spot to spend a few minutes or hours, watching the boats come in and out of the harbor, watch the sea birds, glance at the fishing boats across the harbor at the wharf, or read, people watch, or just relax.

Home of the Rockland Farmer's Market

This park is the waterfront hub for Rockland. Great views (from the adjacent hillside lawn) of boats in the harbor along with the Rockland lighthouse in the distance.

There's ample 24 hr free parking around a central lawn that hosts the Rockland Farm's Market on Thursdays 9a - 1p. Great mix of local vendors including killer wood-fired pizza and coffee, by the folks at Uproot Pie Co.!

Great view

Went here for Lobsterfest and it's a great location with awesome views. The kids climbed down some rocks and were able to go into the water and cool off on a hot day.

A great way to see the harbor. We walked to the dock so we could watch the boats, and sea gulls, etc. Highly recommend doing this.

Rockland Harbor

This was a lovely quiet harbor with Andre the Seal Statue and story. Great spot for a picnic. Beautiful harbor with lots of boats. Smaller than Camden Harbor but less crowded and easy to find.
