Plenty of parking, short walk from your car over the little bridge for a better view of the area. Clean outhouse available across the bridge and a gift shop with gold panning across the street.

We stopped here as we were working our way around Western Maine viewing the various waterfalls. There was plenty of water after all the rain we've been having. Picnic tables are available if you want to sit and watch the water as it cascades.

Stunning views of the canyon! I can't believe we found it - I thought for sure we were lost - but around a couple of bends and lo and behold there it was!

We stopped here on a whim and were glad we did. It was a perfect stop on our drive from the Portland area to Rangeley. Gorgeous setting, cool rock formations, and fun climbing around. We would recommend it!

Yup,, it's kinda sad to see what used to be a quiet family spot go downhill. There were broken glass beer bottles in the path and rivers edge as well as a multitude of cigarette butts.. A person had relieved him/herself next to our campsite...More
