The only scaled model of the Solar System

Very Unique and the ONLY scaled model of the solar system I am aware of in the USA. The Sun is at the University of Maine Presque Isle, and Pluto is at the Visitor's Center in Houlton.

Interesting idea

Interesting but didn't find them all. Accidentally found Pluto at Visitors Center. Wish it were better marked. Nice idea.

Fun visual for kids on your trip in or out of the county.

Interesting

I found this very interesting but wish that the sun was better located and marked. Still haven't seen the sun to this because it is in the College in Presque Isle, ME.

Interesting way to pass the miles.

For our last stretch of road to Presque Isle, we came across this solar system model. Not much to look at, but what struck us was the correctly scaled distance between the planets. Puts our Earth's insignificance into scale. Some requiring sharp eyes to see...More
