We were here both during the day and at night. Make sure you have space on your camera - so much to see and capture. Fun shops. Great food.

Shops and and more shops. Portland is growing and art is taking a step forward in the action of this city.

Walk around on brick sidewalks and look at brick buildings. Search forever to pay for overpriced parking to walk around and be hassled by panhandlers. Poor Portland I am sorry for the drag you pull on yourself.

This is not your typical street with chain shops and restaurant. We came across more local color in that sense. It is not a very wide street, which makes it more enjoyable to walk down it.

Average historic downtown you will find anywhere, go shopping, go eat, go drink, pay for parking, pay for ridiculous tolls on the way in

Lots of shops if you like to do that sort of thing. Cafes and some nice art galleries. Good place to visit for those with the window shopping gene.
