Still a wild habitat with some campsites carved into the wilderness. Very popular in summer season—advance reservations needed if you plan to camp or caravan. Nice secluded beach.

Beautiful spot although campsites are small. Just a shame we got terribly rude and unhelpful service from the owners.

Recommended by a local to us. Campsite snack bar with tables outside on the dunes. Food on paper plates, nothing fancy, but fresh and good - crab cakes, haddock etc. Then after an afternoon on the stunning beach we returned for delicious Maine ice creams....More

Went camping early August. The showers are filthy. I would not touch anything in them. Seriously, I understand rustic but this was just nasty. They have a captive audience and do not care.

I had no issues with the bathrooms. I was concerned that the "out houses" would be stinky... but the weren't at all.

I was told by one of the campground managers that after labor day you can pull up to the gate at 8 am go into the campground find a site you like put a piece of luggage or such on the picnic table to claim your site then go... More
