I highly recommend the Buracão waterfall, it’s beautiful, a unique sensation. It's really worth going to see. Not to mention the guide, good people, super attentive, storyteller 😃
It was just fun!
Thank you Emídio Neto. It was great spending the day with you.

This place is the most incredible I have seen in my life!
Arriving at the pool, swimming through the impressive canyon that gradually reveals itself until reaching the full height of the Buracão waterfall pool for me was catharsis! I was very moved! I cried, laughed and was very grateful for living through that.
I went through CIRTUR @cirturchapadadiamantina, with the super photographer who TB is a guide in his spare time 😂 Joaldo Silva @sigaoguia.oficial who took care of the transfer from Lençóis where I was staying, Pousada Hostel Chapada Suites, to Ibicoara, which is 520km - whoever can better stay overnight in Mucugê - and there in the waterfall park, which is municipal, who accompanied us on the trail (+-7km round trip - light to moderate) was the local guide Emídio Neto @emidionetoguia +55 77 9153-5311, the storyteller 😂
Everything was great and wonderful!

The best waterfall we visited in Chapada Diamantina, the trail is about 3 km, we didn't find it difficult, it's very peaceful. It is required to be a local guide from Ibicoara (we paid 200 reais for the group of 4) to accompany, I thought the price was super fair as she was also the most careful and pleasant guide we had contact with in Chapada (Keila, from Associação Bicho do Mato) . It's well worth the trip, the waterfall is spectacular!

The Buracão waterfall is a must-visit for anyone who ever comes to Chapada Diamantina. The waterfall is located inside the Espalhado park and on the way there we pass three more falls (Buracãozinho, Orquídeas and Recanto Verde). I recommend with my eyes closed the guide Dalva who led us safely, took the best photos of our tour and gave several tips throughout the tour - (77) 99137-1379

This tour is incredible. The waterfall is beautiful, the arrival through the canyon is exciting. There are 3 km of easy trail to get there. We went with children aged 6 and 10, without any difficulty. The guide Nina was wonderful, she talked and played with my little son the entire way, he didn't even feel the distance. And he even took great photos of us.

Without a doubt, Cachoeira do Buracão is an unmissable attraction for anyone visiting Chapada Diamantina. Going in June could disrupt your plans, as it is a rainy month in Chapada as a whole. Thank God the day we went the rain stopped and we were able to go safely. We were very well guided by Dalva (77) 99137-1379, who, with her extensive knowledge of the place, contributed to making the experience even better!

Cachoeira do Buracão is in Ibicoara, about 1 hour from Mucugê and 3 hours from Lençóis. Even though it is a little far from the main municipalities of Chapada Diamantina, it is one of those unmissable landscapes. There is an initial trail above, lasting around 45 minutes. Upon arriving at the waterfall region, access is via water, and it is surprising when we come across the water, the grandeur of the waterfall. Unmissable.

Wonderful experience. Quiet 3km trail, bordering the Espalhado/Una stream until reaching the top of the waterfall. I highly recommend rappelling from top to bottom and the guide Isak (77) 98141-3596.

It was an incredible experience! You can stop along the way for a swim, both on the way out and on the way back.
It's a trail that, despite being shady in parts, is well worth the descent. I had an incredible experience of rappelling and I highly recommend the guide Emídio (contact: 77 991535311) who was always attentive and very good people.

The trail is easy to make and has an amazing view of the park. Still on the trail, some points like the Orchid Waterfall and the Spread River would already be worth the walk, but the Buracão Waterfall is something of another world: high, with an intense flow of water and a delicious bath (frozen, like much of the waters of Chapada). We had as Guide the driver Emídio Neto (77) 9153-5311, who helped us, guided and took great photos. I highly recommend!
