Not impressed. Not clean. Very busy. Several restaurants and shops in the area. Lots of parking. Glad we didn't stay in this area.

I love this little town! We went at the end of September and it’s was so peaceful up there! It was just so hard to leave! I can’t wait till next year when we can go back!

Nice beach. Very crowded with a lot of French speaking tourists (from Quebec?). I enjoyed the shops and availability of bathrooms and ice-cream shops (not necessarily in that order). Wonderful town/beach. Train tracks are close by and you can hear the train pass through often...More

Walked to the beach from campground. It was Labor Day so busy but Im a people watcher so enjoyed the crowd. Beach was clean and long. Lot of entertainment in the area and food food and food. Nice waves coming in when we were there....More

Beautiful beach . very clean.I sat there early morning , mid-afternoon and the evening until late night . it was so relaxing to hear the waves crashing along the shore line. Very peaceful.

Old Orchard Beach is always a good time. However, they need to do some updating or bring new shops in the keep it interesting.

Yes, you may before 10AM and after 5PM. 10-5 are the busy times on the beach so there are way too many people to make it enjoyable for either you or the pup. You'll need a leash for the pup. There's also the Eastern Trail... More

Usually the water temp is mid-upper 60's by end of July. It's upper 40's at end of May. Tops out in the low 70's by end of August. It's never truly warm. Maybe 73F if it's been a hot summer. It's never truly warm.

There are quite a few right on the beach and directly across the street (30 steps). It really depends on how much you want to spend and what you want. I booked the Copley LaReine Motel this year. It has fantastic views... More
