While it was a bit early in the season for swimming, the beach was wonderful. It is very large, lots of room and shops and amenities at hand. It's only a few blocks off the main road through town. My daughter and granddaughter were determined...More

This is the coast of Maine which is very rocky so any sandy beach is welcomed. This isn't your typical pristine resort beach you'd see further south but it was large and roomy and sandy.

Our family had a great time today at the Ogunquit Beach. It was not overly crowded and since the beach is so big you really don't feel like you're surrounded by anyone. There also weren't many birds - yay! The beach is clean but the...More

Ogunquit Beach makes for an invigorating walk particularly at low tide. The water temp in June is in the 50's so it's not conducive to swimming

Visited on Memorial Day Weekend. There was good paid parking at the beach and it included a restroom. There was a covered tent you could sit under on the ocean side. Most of the people on the beach were on the lagoon side as there...More

The water may be cold (this is Maine), but the sand is soft and perfect for a nice walk on the beach. There are Adirondack chairs under a canopy for people watching or just to sit and enjoy nature. There is a public parking lot...More

The water is so clear and lovely! It was too cold for us to go in during mid-June with 65 degree weather. There are more natural stones than shells to be picked. Parking is steep at $20-$25 a day so we brought pedal bikes and...More

Spend the day or just go for the sunrise! Lots of stores and restaurants nearby or bring a picnic. Fabulous activities and good lifeguards.

During low tide this beach goes on forever. Very fun and pretty walk to the water. It always feels empty because it is so large.

This beach is nostalgic for me, though anyone visiting it will quickly feel the magic of this beautiful long sandy beach, seemingly endless breaking waves, and perfect place to walk, gaze at the sea, watch the sunrise, surf, or relax with a book, etc (and...More

If you get into the main lot it really depends if you want to sit on the ocean side beach North end or the river side beach south end. We like to park on the ocean side and if possible the first row. I say the first row... More

I only used the restroom at the beach and did not notice any area to shower.
