Beautiful but crowded in summer. Lots of cars and foot traffic. Worth the trip but less crowded on week days.

The Marginal Way was an enjoyable walk and the views were great--Saw some people being pushed in a wheel chair, a bit difficult, but certainly possible--

Walking the Marginal Way is an unforgettable experience. We visited Acadia National Park 3 days before and walked the shore path I Bar Harbor. The Marginal Way walk is so, so much better. I wish I could have spent more time enjoying the beautiful scenery!

It is paved and wide enough for a wheelchair. Some of the grades could pose a challenge for a wheelchair.

Dog's are not allowed as the trail is very narrow and on a cliff so for every ones safety and cleanliness of the trail I think this is correct. It gets very very hot as well as buggy at times so dogs wouldn't enjoy the 1.5... More
