This is a beautiful walk. I will say that we are heading down the coast from Bar Harbor, so we saw many sights like this trail in Bar Harbor - if you are coming from that area, it may not be worth it. But if...More

We watched a sunrise which was amazing. Every where you turn is a calendar photo op. Whether it be the tide rolling in or waves cascading over the rocky shore, this area is a MUST see! Enjoy a stroll on the Marginal Way. Jim H....More

We loved this stroll by the ocean! Started at Perkins cove, looked at the shops and then walked. We even deviated a bit from the paved path to sit on the rocks. Our 5 year old enjoyed the walk as well. If you are visiting...More

So many people walking. There are some wonderful views of houses and cliffs. Reminded us of Cliff Walk in Newport

Lovely views of the ocean and access to rocks and a few hidden coves. A very nice walk although it can get a bit crowded.

I've not seen any during my many walks along this fabulous walkway. It's only wide enough for 2 1/2 people on much of the path. So I wouldn't think so.

No, this walkway is paved and you will see people of all ages walking it. There are many places to stop and rest along the way. There are a couple places where there is an incline, but nothing steep.

If you continue driving down near where the Lobster Shack is there is some free 2 hour parking that most of the tourists are not aware of.
