One of the highlights of our week in Bar Harbor! This garden is absolutely stunning. The azaleas were not in full bloom, but so many other plants were, and the atmosphere is incredibly serene. We were there in the afternoon, and only one other family...More

This was a beautiful place for a romantic stroll with my bride of 35 years. It's just large enough for some fantastic photos and yet small enough to enjoy in an hour or two.

Just outside of Seal Harbor, this is a fantastic stop for serious gardeners. It's not great for kids and there's a suggested $5 donation per person (honor system), but it's a gorgeous collection of plants and some truly inspired landscape architecture. The ponds, the sand...More

This is an exquisite garden with a wide variety of beautiful plants and lovely water elements. You can spend only a few minutes here if you'd like, but it is very tempting to unwind and enjoy the tranquility while sitting on one of the benches.

The Asticou Garden was such a pleasure to visit. We visited the first week of June which was the prefect time as all of the azaleas and rhododendrons were in full bloom. The pond was like glass, and the reflections of the colorful blooms off...More

I suspect there will be significant bloom at this time but this is such a delightful garden tat a visit would be worthwhile at any time. When I visited there was little in flower but that didn't reduce the experience though... More
