We spent several hours in the tool company, but did not find the 2 tools we came for. The young guy at the counter did not know where anything was, but vaguely pointed us in the right direction. Most of the antiques upstairs are chipped,...More

It takes a good hour to walk around and investigate all the stuff that's there. We found a few items then went across to liberty graphics and got a few t shirts. We had a fun afternoon.

Love this place. So many weird and wonderful things with no apparent purpose - then other very useful things. Really interesting and unique.

Liberty Tool is like an old-time hardware store that is a flea market/antique store. If you need a hand-tool, they have it there a a very low price. And they have a little bit (or a lot) of everything. I saw 18 inch drill bits...More

Well, this is a guy place. The guys loved rummaging through stuff, looking for treasures amongst the old tools, pieces, books and prints. Dusty and a bit disorganized place. Do be careful upstairs as there are warning signs about no insurance.

I had been longing to visit this place since seeing the Vimeo online video called "There's No Place Like Here". Finally, we were in Maine and although it meant driving an hour out of the way (each way)... I got to visit Liberty Tool Company!...More

There are a few taxidermy pieces. An owl, a moose head, and one or two more that I can't remember.
