I'm not really a big fan of shopping, but I did stop here on vacation, trying to kill time before check-in and I loved the selection of stores. Very good stores for practical things. I loved the Croc store

Covid and online sales have devastated this outlet. Several stores are empty. The stores that were open had very few sales and were pricey. I will not go again.

We have been coming to Kittery for a long time now, and over the years there has been a noticeable decline in the (1) choice of items (2) available sizes of items and (3) non-bargain prices.

Anymore, we just travel to Kittery because it's only a 6-hour drive there for a change of scenery, decent seafood (a.k.a. Bob's) and a short side trip to somewhere in the area.

We intend to keep taking our annual getaway to Kittery but it's not solely for the shopping experience.

This outlet is not what I would have expected. Spaced out over a large area with a vehicle needed to travel to all and having to cross busy roads for those in walking distance of where you park.
A number of stores not open and units empty.
Prices were high from my point of view. Much more expensive than would expect to pay in UK for equivalent items.

The pandemic was merciless on the bricks-and-mortar retail sector, and the Kittery Premium Outlets were not spared. Having come here with some regularity over the past three decades, the decline was sadly obvious, and while healthy pockets still exist, various areas are almost ghost-town like. Let's hope for eventual recovery, and support the businesses and employees soldiering on. In the meantime, you may be surprised that the retail areas to the right on US 1 north abut a beautiful natural area, Spruce Creek, a tidal creek, which you are unlikely to notice if going purposely from store-to-store. Take a moment to enjoy the sparkling waters, lush foliage, and wild apple trees. It reminds you that while your favorite retailers may come and go, nature endures.

I've been to the outlets twice. You can find good deals but the reason I give it 3 stars is because of recent experience at The Kitchen Store Outlet. I would not recommend going there--the products are more expensive than at regular stores. I was close to buying a knife set but was suspicious that it was overpriced. I tried to search online while there but, interestingly, I could not access the internet at all. I did buy a few other things, which I researched later I could've gotten all of it cheaper at other stores. Does "outlet" mean anything anymore?

The economy has really hit this outlet mall. Alot of empty stores since my last visit over 5 year ago. However great selection and find in many stores to shop. Hope they rebound since it is reliable and I look forward to visiting again.

Strange setup for an Outlet. Lots of stores but spread out in about 8 section either side of a main road, with some section with a few empty stores. If you want to visit a particular store, then best to plan ahead to save having to keep driving back and forth across the highway.

The outlets are very spread out and quite a few of the stores are closed. We did find an awesome instore deal at Under Armour. If you are in the area, stop by, but do not make a special trip, as you will be disappointed.

The outlets are too spread out, not one stop. Some bargains, depending on where. Too bad there isn’t a guide showing where they are all located as it’s hard to find specific ones in that busy road.
I’ve been to other Simon outlets in Clinton Ct, Vacaville Ca and Wrenthem Mass that far exceed the Maine experience. The Kittery trading post is good , lots to offer but not necessarily an outlet. I’m sure the pandemic impacted many stores closing and staffing
