We were in the area and my 8 year old really wanted to drive by the Bush compound. It really is beautiful and just fascinating. My daughter appreciated it for sure and so did I.

As one would expect you can't get too close. The view pulling up to the area is breath taking and why not stop by if your in the area.

If you come to Kennebunkport it's definitely worth taking a ride on scenic Ocean Avenue, which will include your seeing the Bush family compound. The entire ride is only a few miles and includes a number of places where you can park and take pictures....More
