We visited this beach several times on our trip to Kennebunk. Each trip held something new. Tide coming in was fast and refreshing! Tide going out provided an open beach and quiet walks on the sand. One evening we had the treat of watching the dogs frolic in the waves after dusk started and "dog hours" began! If you have a parking pass for Kennebunk this beach is wonderful. We found a spot to park at various times during the day but I suggest early and late best to get a spot!

My dog made more dog and people friends! It's a wonderful beach for racing around and saying hello to all the other dogs.

A beautiful beach. A must visit when in Kenny bunk port. It is expensive to park for the day but well worth it! The beaches are wide, clean and dogs are allowed during the season before 9 AM and after 5 PM I believe could be 6p but a great place to take the dogs for an evening walk as well!

Must say I am partial to this beach!! Nice hard sand for walking where the tide has come across the sand and a long stretch of beach. Nice waves here and good for jumping or boogie boarding. Love thawing the grannies here and great place to sun!

At low tide is best with loads of room to stretch out. The water gets gradually deeper. Walking the beach is restful.

It's a nice New England beach with a few cons. At high tide, there's literally no 'beach' -- you have to sit on the concrete wall. And, there's no street parking except for permit parking for people who live there or are staying at one of the inns. No food shacks. This time of year, though (mid-October), the tourists are gone, so the permit parking might be a mute point, and it's a nice beach to walk (except at high tide).

Beautiful large sandy beach. Great for walks and dogs. I was here on October 4 so parking was free on the street. Loved walking the beach here.

I loved the town, and loved the restaurants but did not like the beaches. There is a $25 flat rate for the day to park. The other beach towns have meter parking by the hour and are nicer and longer beaches. This beach reminded me more a sound- maybe better for families with small kids. Less waves. More shells to collect than the other beaches in other towns. Water seemed warmer than the other beaches. Sit far back- or you need to keep moving back at all southern Maine beaches as high tide always comes in around 3pm. No nearby food bring your own.

This the best beach! You can climb on all the rocks and watch the boats enter and exit the port! You can play in the water ! You can fish right off the rocks and catch stripers and flounder! The Beach is super clean and sand is super soft. Parking is a bit high! It’s $25 regardless of the time. All day or just an hour. It’s $25 so plan accordingly. Bring your own food: Porto potties are available at entrance. There is free parking right before the bridge On beach ave but only like 5 spots so get there early!
