Great beach with friendly people. I enjoy meeting the dogs & their owners who frequent the beach daily. Clean, quiet, beautiful, and relaxing. Get there early because parking can be a pain.

Bought lunch and had it at the beach last week. It was a tad cool, but the view and the waves were worth zipping up my sweatshirt. We will be here this a lot this summer and I look forward to enjoying this beach and...More

This used to be a nice family beach, but in recent years it has gone to the dogs, literally. It turns my stomach to watch dozens and dozens of dogs peeing on the seaweed, then moments later a child picks up that seaweed to decorate...More

Friendly people are always out walking there dogs in the winter. We love to just walk around and collect the smooth stones and sea glass.

Gooch's Beach is a rather small beach with limited parking. By the way parking, in the summer, requires a parking permit which can be obtained at the Town Hall. The best surfable waves, unfortunately happen in fall and winter but some very nice swells can...More

I've been visiting this beach since I was a kid and have always loved it. Today I saw, but didn't participate in, the New Year Polar Plunge. This is always a gorgeous beach. Perfect for family and friend outings, relaxation and sun.

Gooch's Beach is great for long walks. From the start at the Seaside Inn down to the turn at the condos is a half mile, so a round trip is a good airing out! You can walk on the sand or on the sidewalk. Lots...More

This is a beautiful stretch of beach and if you stay at the Seaside Inn, you can stay right on it! Too many dogs but we loved it.

I was staying at the Nonantum Resort. It was a brief stay, and to be on the beech at the sunset time was in my mind. Time was very short and to go to Gooch's Beach and comeback was not possible. With information from the...More

I'm thinking about coming up in late July from Texas to do some surfing. Do you know of any places near or on the beach where you can stay?

There is a wheelchair ramp and handicap parking at north /east end of the beach, by the Seaside Hotel. The sand is soft, but go at high tide when the water is close.
