I have been coming to Kennebunkport since I was a child (I am now retired) and this beach holds a lot of memories. That being said it is a wide beach with fine white sand. Off season (after Labor Day) you can park without a...More

Really wide stretch of fine sand especially on low tide. Dogs allowed after 5 pm and early morning. Freezing water as per my standards but the sunset walk was awesome. Many surfers seemed to enjoy the waves. Easy to park but with resident permit. It...More

This was a nice beach and area to explore. Interesting to see the $1-2M summer homes. The beach itself is nice, smooth, easy to walk. Great views. I myself am spoiled silly by the Caribbean, so this Atlantic beach doesn't send me.

Stopped here while visiting family. Get here early because parking is a real challenge. The beach has good sand and waves that people can surf on too! Nice boardwalk to walk around, look at pretty houses and walk into town.

Most of the hotels loan out a parking permit for the day . I was lucky because I have a handicap placard and there are several handicap parking spots right near the ramp to the beach.

Beautiful beach! Water was so clear. The beach glistened in the sun. Sand was soft. Easy to find parking.

What a lovely sandy stretch just outside downtown Kennebunk/port!! Since sandy beaches are harder to find in northern New England, I assumed that during peak summer it would be jam packed with no place to put down chairs, but it really wasn't bad at all....More

Took my family to Gooch's Beach while staying in Kennebunk for the week. Very clean, and quite picturesque. Water was cold as you'd expect for Maine, but we were undeterred. Surround by beautiful hotels and homes, it was definitely a great beach

There is a wheelchair ramp and handicap parking at north /east end of the beach, by the Seaside Hotel. The sand is soft, but go at high tide when the water is close.
