Great trail to hike with kids-the fairy house thing is fun-hike the shorter trail with younger kids or the longer trail with older kids(we took the longer trail which can be challenging for younger kids as it involves hiking uphill and up rocks in a...More

This was an easy hike for adults and kids alike. It does have a lot of roots so may not be appropriate for a person that may trip easily. It is well marked about not having boundaries for the cliff (e.g. if walking with a...More

Nice easy little hike beautiful and varied views, from marshes to tidal inlet to overlooks. Mostly flat through the woods and along the shore, short section of relatively steep climb up to the “cliff”.

Nice, shady, trail. Not a strenuous hike but beware of the exposed tree roots. The path is a soft, cushioned with organic materials and well marked with blazes. Along the path a couple places are designated fairy house areas. Feel free to construct a fairy...More

Enjoyable hike of varying terraines and fantastic views. Saw a bald eagle, herons and egrets. A lot of exposed roots so care needs to be taken.

We loved his hike. The fairy houses were fun along the way. Saw some wildlife. The view from the cliffs is pretty. Not a hard hike. We could find there rest of the loop, so back tracked from the cliffs. I'm sure it was there,...More

I found this to be a good hike to get the heart pumping. Easy walking if your watching out for the roots. The cliff side... just like the signs say, keep the small children & animals back from the edge. Neat to be walking through...More

A pretty easy hike along a cliff side trail. Suitable for all ages with the most dangerous area being the cliff where there are no barriers to keep you from the edge.

If you are a multigenerational (younger and older) group who wants a nice easy ramble in your street shoes or sneakers, you should choose a different hiking trail (Giant Stairs, maybe). If you are comfortable navigating wooded and rocky hiking trails, have some experience at...More

You and the little one would have no problem. There is one section where you walk along a cliff. The trail is not on the edge and there are signets alert you. Enjoy

I would think so, if they plan to assist the toddler at times.
