We spent part of an afternoon visiting this interesting Maine winery. Kathe was most welcoming and helpful in presenting their various fruits wines. My favorite is the Coastal White, but the semi sweet blueberry is a close second!

The winery was an interesting place to visit walking through Maine woodlands to access the tasting room. Good local wine. All pear, Apple, and good selection of Maine blueberry wines. My only complaint....the server couldn't have been more rude. She told us the minute we...More

The wine is what you would expect - terrible. The rum is not aged, a bit harsh but tastes like rum. It is something to do. Everyone has their own taste in wine and if you prefer Cakebread Chardonay you will be dissapointed.

Kathy was phenomenal and spent a lot of time with us. She is knowledgable and authentic both as it relates to wine and to the local area. The variety of wines was wonderful. Very pleased we were able to find time to visit the winery.

We've visited here a few times now and I have to say it's gone downhill slightly. The grounds and building seem to need some upkeep and as some have mentioned the female owner has definitely gotten a bit crankier over time. I don't like the...More

A bit out of the way but an interesting stop if you want to try some non-traditional wines. Although the dry wines were good we especially liked the sweet desert wines. Chilled over vanilla ice-cream makes for a special treat. Staff is very friendly and...More

The girls set out on an afternoon trip to taste wine while the guys went fishing. We arrived early in the afternoon and were met by the proprietor, Kathe, in the small tasting room/shop. As our six-wine-tasting went on the shop quickly filled up with...More

Really different wines... mostly blueberry and pear. Kathe Bartlett served and chatted... very entertaining with tales of wine making, fruit inspections and the history of the winery. The place can be a little difficult to find but don't give up; it's worth a visit.
