I became a fan of John Hardy when I stumbled into his Boutique in Century City, Los Angeles, back in 2017. Having finally been able to get back to Bali was a treat, and a tour of the show room was absolutely amazing. The grounds are stunning, sustainable, and a beautiful rainforest setting, the workshop is so interesting you see the pieces being made from beginning to end and the tour guide is so knowledgeable. If you’re a fan of his jewelry and find yourself in Bali, I highly recommend you take this tour. At the end of the tour there was absolutely no pressure to buy anything. I ended up treating myself to a stunning bracelet that had I had had my eye on for many years. Be sure to bring your passport as you will get a vat refund when you leave Bali if you decide to purchase anything. .

What a beautiful experience- the process to hand craft the jewellery is so special. The jewellery is divine. There is no hard sell. I recommend a tour that includes lunch - sharing lunch with the designers & other staff was a great experience

I'm a John Hardy fan. This tour was everything and than what I was anticipating!! Putri was our tour guide and she was so kind and very thorough with the whole jewelry design process, which I loved! I was really impressed with the whole PR team and designers. everyone was so helpful, friendly and giving of their time, not to mention their impressive craftsmanship. We scheduled directly with JH the whole day which included workshop tour, lunch, and the master class experience. It was well worth it to spend the day with this professionals. We also got to shop in the Flag Boutique that was a beautiful and unique balinese building. this is first class all the way - Thank you JH team.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience here, and what an entrance and space! Loved the architecture. Well done. Lots of community cats in the area, so I hope they're looking after them at least.

In addition to the beautiful pieces in the showroom, I was very impressed by the care, not just for the staff, but also the meticulous planning and attention to sustaining the environment. Kudos to the management and John Hardy family.

I had a great time on my tour with Lisa. From the moment she met me, she was gracious and thoughtful. The property is beautiful and the tour fascinating. I learned so much about the process and am very impressed with the skill of the artists and the quality of the jewelry. I didn't have time to book for the lunch with management and artists, but I wish I had. There is no cost for the tour or for the lunch, so be sure to plan enough time and book in advance for this terrific experience!

Our visit to the John Hardy workshop in Bali was one of the highlights of our trip! Taking a tour of the facility to observe the manufacturing process was fascinating! I never realized the amount of detail that goes into creating a single piece. We had a delicious lunch with the staff and had a fun shopping experience. The team (especially Putri) is gracious and accommodating. A+++ experience.

The John Hardy workshop is a beautifully built facility. We had a wonderful free tour and saw the process in making their jewelry. I was with three other women friends/family and we all bought something! Their product is of high quality but pretty pricey! I would never have purchased if I were at home. However, I’m happy that I did and will wear my bracelet often, especially after seeing the process it took. I don’t think you’re getting a deal buying it there. There’s also a John Hardy store at the airport with comparable pricing. I did get a VAT refund at the airport, which was quick and easy to do. I ended up at the airport money exchange and got US$. I had never heard of John Hardy prior to my trip but glad that I went.

I did a solo tour of the factory today and thought it was the most beautiful campus I have been on. It started with a pick up at my hotel and a private tour guide and driver for the day. I was the only one on the tour so it was a delight to know that I could go at my own pace and ask any questions along the way with such personal attention.
When we arrived at the factory my guide turned me over to Lisa for the factory tour. She was such a delight and so easy to talk too!
After the tour I joined the designers and supervisors for a family style lunch and was able to learn even more about the John Hardy philosophy of reclaimed and sustainable use of materials throughout there operations in Bali.
And yes I did buy the most beautiful bracelet I have ever owned.
