Quaint church that is a boating landmark. Larger than the lighthouse, entering the harbor the steeple was a focal point in locating the harbor.

We have been to Sunday AM worship several times. The old church/sanctuary are beautiful and the small congregation was very warm and friendly. Go to see the structure or to worship!

What a beautiful place, everyone who comes to Camden who is a bit older recognizes this loveliest of all mid-coast villages, as the home of the film, "Peyton Place." Many of the churches, houses, buildings are still there only looking better than ever! I love...More

this is a gorgeous landmark in Camden. Sadly, right now, the steeple is being repaired so it's hidden by scaffolding. This is a great church for anyone looking for a place to worship

The Chestnut Street Church is in the process of being restored. There's scaffolding surrounding the steeple right now. By the end of the summer, there should be a brand new steeple.

Interesting church.....gathered in early 1800s and built 30 years after. Typical white church, on a gentle slope. Church lawn is set back from the main road, so you can enjoy a shady rest on a park bench. There's a sign outside indicating a fundraiser of...More

This is a grand church that is 200+ years old. They are raising money to repair the enormous steeple and spire. The bells toll he hours of the day. Kinda' reassuring sound that soothes the heart. Get a photo of this city icon!
