Short, lovely drive to a hilltop overlooking the town and bay. Edna St. Vincent Millay wrote a poem about this view. She got it right.

The top of the hill has 2 nice lookout points of the Bay. It was worthwhile to get a birds' eye view & then walk around Camden & get closer to the water.

On a clear and sunny day you can see forever. Mountains, ocean, lakes, and wildlife. We chose to drive up but the walk is very doable. So worth it.

I have never been there in the winter, but I am sure they allow winter hiking or X Country skiing, except this winter they have 3 feet or more of snow... could make it difficult.
