Great hill top park with commanding views of Camden and the harbor. Lots of great moderately challenging trails to hike on. We arrived on a great fall day and spent several hours in the woods. Delightful afternoon.

Hi Lovtorun, Thank you for your comments! The park has restrooms located at the summit of Mt. Battie, The trailhead1/4 mile up the Mt. Battie Road, the main parking area and at the Ski Shelter.

Hi Kingfisher1807, $2 is the non resident senior citizen rate. Non residents (State of Maine) aged 12-64 are $6 per person, Maine residents 12-64 are $4.

Yes. The grades are steep buy brief. There's plenty of parking at the summit and the road loops around to the exit.

The road to the summit of Mt. Battie is only 1.5 miles long. There are 25 miles of hiking trails in this 6,200 acre park.
