Chottanikkara Bhagavathy temple is the abode of Goddess Bhagavathy and thousands of devotees visit the temple every day. The Most auspicious day is Chottanikara Makam Darshan when lakhs of devotees throngh the temple.

Please ensure that you reach this place around 4.30 - 5 pm for a peaceful darshan . If you are late then it will be crowded.

The Chottanikkara Devi Temple is a famous temple of mother goddess Shakthi devi or Rajarajeshwari known as Sree Bhagavathi. Maha lakshmi is supposed to be residing in Chottanikkara along with Lord Vishnu.

As we were New to the temple don't know the timing.we reached there by 8 in the night.could able to see only the elephant rounding the temple.next day we came morning 4 it was very quite and the darshan was quite very good.

It was a great experience to visit Sri Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Temple. A must visit place in Kerala.

This temple has awesome wood craving which is famous in kerala temple. The entrance is free. Good to visit with family and kids.

Divine is the only word I can use. The temple was amazing and neatly maintained. I traveled from Cherai and was easily able to find using Maps.

HI, Men need to be in dhoti or pants only. No upper clothing. Women need to wear a Saree or a salwar kameez. Pants, shorts, skirts are not allowed.
Any unique occasion at the temple whereby huge crowd is expected? If so during what month of the year?
