Please reach early and avoid the 11.30 AM darshan. they will close. We were infront of the line so we could manage great darshan but they closed after we moved on. So plan your visit accordingly.

This is old and powerful temple. The temple has two sets of devi temples. one melle bhagavathy and keezhikavu bhagavathi. It is a nice spiritual place to have peace of mind to sit inside the temple compound and pray.

Visiting this temple and offering prayers here gives such a feeling of mental calmness. Rich in tradition.

The place has some steps to be negotiated. During festival times, the crowds can reach enormous proportions given the repute and popularity of the place. Chottanikkara is well connected with the City Centre by bus and cars.
