Took the round trip to Monhegan Island and had a blast. Sunny and calm seas made for a great trip. Lobster on the island and then a trip around the island for 5 dollars before the ferry ride home.

They will assist you with golf cart id needed. However there is uneven trails, hills and a small staircase involved. Expect about 1 mile total in walking split between a few hours.
