This is a cute little park at the Biddeford end of the bridge that connects Biddeford and Saco. Its location is great because it's just a few yards from several good restaurants and you can bring takeout and enjoy it on one of the benches or picnic tables. It has good views of the Saco River and the Biddeford mills as well as a gazebo, a bike rack, a few parking spaces, and a small workout station. Summertime concerts are also held here.

Mechanics Park @ White's Wharf was is at the corner of Main and Water Streets. It is a good-sized city park with about five regular parking spaces and two handicapped parking spaces. There is also some on-street parking on the other side of Water Street. Parking is free. There is also a bike rack.
The park has a gazebo, some picnic tables, several park benches, lots of open grass space for sitting on a blanket or in one’s own lawn chair, and walking paths down closer to the river that were illuminated at night.
What I found attractive about this park was the river overlook at the end of the paths. That vantage point gave scenic views of the Saco River.
What separated Mechanics Park from the average city park were two metal 7 Minute Workout Stations by Johnson & Johnson. They had diagrams of the exercises one could do on them.
The park was well maintained.
I enjoyed my walk all around the park and some time at a workout station.
As I was leaving the park, two men came down the river in a small fishing boat.
I rate Mechanics Park 4.50 for its above-average features. The river overlook and workout stations are big pluses.

We brought our family here this summer as they love the mills in Biddeford, and we eat on the patio at Run of the Mill. This little park is adjacent to all of that. We have driven by lots of times, but decided this time to walk over. The walkway along the river is beautiful and the little park is great. Worth a stop!

This two-acre (0.8 ha) popular, family-friendly park overlooked the Saco River. Among its amenities were several interpretive historical displays and a brick gazebo, several picnic tables, a half dozen benches, two workout stations, and a children’s play area. It was the southern terminus of the River Walk through magnificent former mills along the Saco River. I liked all that I found here; I only wished the park had rest facilities.
