3 generations enjoyed a morning trip out to Seguin Isl from Popham Fort. Had to dingy from boat to shore as no dock landing. Was good to talk with current caretakers about their stay on the island and island history. Went to top of lighthouse...More

From Maine Maritime or from Fort Popham. Take your pick one brings you to the island so you can tour it the other takes you around it. Fun time.

It's been a fantasy of mine to actually experience the climb and walk on to the catwalk at the top of a lighthouse. On a cruise with the Bath Maritime Museum that goal mine was enjoyed here. Absolutely amazing! Will be going back.

Took the boat to Seguin on a beautiful day. Tied up on one of the moorings and explored the island. Beautiful vistas and easy walking terrain. Pack a lunch and go.

What a beautiful and tranquil place to visit! The seagulls fly overhead; the lighthouse looms in the distance, ready to be explored and the North and South paths along the island are inviting for a quick stroll.

I don't have an answer to that question Elaine. I would suppose that would depend upon how long the lightkeepers/caretakers stay there - which may only be for the summer. Just contact one of the local boat/ferry services... More
