In Middle and Elementary school, I would go as a class trip a lot because a lot of the History is from where we are. Loved going!

Well, interesting is about all I can say. If you have a hour to waste well, looking at a used car in at Whited Ford would be a better use of your time. But then again, buying something from Whited Ford - then again I would not even waste my time at Whited. So the transportation museum is ok, but... More

This is an amazing museum put together by the owner of Cole's Transportation Co. It documents his family & companies vehicles but also a history of Maine through transportation. It is in a large metal building that is packed with vehicles & exhibits. Definitely a must see for car, truck & other transportation buffs. Set aside at least 3-4 hours... More

This is one of the best museums I've visited. Even the grand-kids loved it. One can see the beginning of transportation in northern Maine-horse drawn plows to the most modern snow blower. Roller skates, bicycles, trains, trucks-you name it, it's in this museum.

From snow plows to trains, this museum has something for everyone including a section that is devoted to honoring our veterans. My grandkids love to go through and see all the vehicles. There are videos that give you a greater level of understanding about the history of the vehicles and the museum. And hundreds of photos give you a great... More

Fabulous exhibits, wonderful & knowledgable staff....A great place to spend a few hours no matter your age. There is a special place in the Cole's hearts for veterans of all services, with exhibits and special presentations offered.

This,is,a full transportation museum aimed trucking and the,railroads. There is a diesel engines (full size) within its walls. It is an educational gem for children and a delight for all. It was,established by the Cole family who were in the trucking industry in Maine .

If you want to learn about trucks, cars military transportation, this is the place to come. I can't say enough firbthis great facility. Great learning place for children and adults as well.
