Very clever and interactive exhibits. Our 10 year old enjoyed it but was probably a little childish for her. Definitely a good time for kids.

We went for an afternoon with our 18 month old daughter. The museum was closing an hour early- their hours are already severely limited. The museum itself is nice but NOTHING works, there are out of order stickers over half of the attractions. The staff...More

This is an ok attraction to keep children busy for an hour or so. Some of the interaction buttons to the exhibits were inoperable. Air conditioning worked minimally. Our 7 yr. Old granddaughter still had fun!

Took my 7 year old here for the first time today. She had an absolute blast! My husband and I enjoyed it as well. The touch tank was fantastic! The young girl working was great with the kids. Plenty of exhibits spread out over 3...More

Three floors of great activities and things to explore for children. The gift shop has lots of great items and being downtown means you can make a "day" of it with lunch out!

Wasn't sure what to expect, but it's much bigger than you might expect. Great price and very interesting exhibits.

I love this museum! I've been taking my grand baby here since he was 4 months old! He just adored splashing with the boats in the ever running 'river'! And as he grew we explored more and more! It was fun to watch him enjoy...More

During our stay in Bar Harbor, we knew that our kids needed a change of pace from the national park. So we read the TripAdvisor reviews for this museum and drove up here for a day trip. They loved it, from being able to climb...More

This is a great children's museum. It's not huge and "science-y" like Indianapolis or St Louis, but I like that it is unique and totally geared toward Maine. There's a whole area dedicated to waterways and animals, another dedicated to children's storybooks (ride in Burt...More

Good Museum, the kids loved it, and a fair amount to do. Nothing space age, but again something to keep your kids busy for a few hours. Mine were 6 and 7 and they had a good time. They loved the "water works" area and...More

We used to go here when kids were younger. It's not amazing, but the kids always wanted to go back, sop that says something. Parking is a challenge.
