Eclectic paintings and sculptures that held my interest. The gardens and landscaping were made for a fun walk with plenty to see. Peaceful. Lots of benches for sitting and watching.

The art gallery is simply amazing with its breadth of exhibits! Here are just a few examples: Egyption artifacts, early American paintings, Medieval tapestries, an extensive gun collection, and modern American art. There is a charming children's room. I didn't have enough time to see as much as I would have liked

The mask rule was reinstated. This is unnecessary and ruins the gallery experience. The docents are quick to chastise you if the paper mask, which doesn’t protect you, is not properly worn. We won’t return and wouldn’t recommend anyone go until the useless mask requirement is removed. It is not worth ruining the beauty of the art. People socially distance inside and most of us are vaccinated several times. Stop ruining the love of art for your neurosis.

This museum is huge with a wide variety of art. There are several rooms with different styles of American and international prints, paintings and sculptures. Be sure to check out the needlepoint Declaration of Independence with the magnifying glass from one of the docents. There are limited hours with the pandemic so check before you go

There are no plans in the near future to open the museum to the general public. This does NOT mean we are out of business; it only means that we, too, are adjusting to the new reality of staff and public health and safety measures. So, please bear with us and keep checking our website and social media for updates.

One of the best ways to spend some time. Beautiful landscapes all around the building with a vast array of Azaleas. The museum is fantastic with much art, sculpture and changing exhibits. Do not miss this treasure!
