What a great historical pub and priory. Food was amazing and great service . Always love coming here.
We have been coming here for years camping in the field beside. Its very casual but very serene and coming from the other side of the world in Australia i wanted to spend my honeymoon here.
Amust to visit and the walks are amazing.

We stopped at Llanthony Prioriy for lunch before climbing up to Bal Bach. The staff were super friendly and the food was brilliant. I had the spicy bean goulash which was delicious and my wife had the lasagna which was equally as good.

One of our favourite spots and could highly recommend this for lunch or evening dinner.

Fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. So good to be able to switch off and enjoy the surroundings, no internet, no WiFi and no TV! The staff were all welcoming and helpful. The food was amazing.
It was a complete treat to stay in this beautiful building in my favourite place.
Will be back.... for sure

Called in yesterday on our Clifton Petrol Heads classic car drive from Bristol . A wonderful spot for our morning coffe break , with a great shop and friendly staff too . Nothing was too much trouble , which old fashioned service was a delight to experience .
We are walking next month around Abergavenny , so hope we can spend more time there then .

Situated amongst stunning scenery in a dramatic narrow valley, one can only marvel at the dedication and ingenuity of the founders.
Allow twenty minutes or so along very narrow winding lanes but then rewarded with a fabulous ruin!

It was a privilege to be able to stay in such an historic and stunningly beautiful place. The room was stunning. I cannot imagine why any normal human being would not fall in love with this place. The entire staff were friendly and helpful and we had a lovely stay in a special place.

Fascinating Priory, one of the best ruins in the UK. Parking is free, as is entry to the priory. We visited in August and there were lots of visitors. There were no toilet facilities.
