Captain Tom was excellent in providing a informative and knowledgeable swamp tour. The spontaneous nature of Captain Tom’s swamp tour was refreshing from some of the scripted ones so many tours offer.

We went with Greyline which they did a fantastic job. Mary was our leader and I could listen to her all day. Tom was our boat captain he is very knowledgeable and spontaneous he made the tour for sure! We had a great time!

´They picked us up at 11 am and we were back in New Orleans again at 6 pm. We brought lunch and bought water at the swamp site

The cruise through the swamp would probably still be nice for the flora & fauna but you may not see much in the way of alligators only because when it is cold they bury themselves in the mud!
